Bounce Curl really cares about this planet (see recycling efforts). If there is an option to make something plastic-free that actually performs well, Bounce Curl will offer those products. The brushes contain biodegradable materials. Our vegan hair brushes and combs are cruelty-free; they contain no animal ingredients or by-products and are cruelty-free (no animal testing!).
– Poly Lactic Acid (PLA): PLA is biodegradable and comes from renewable, organic sources like corn starch or sugar cane. (Please note that some biodegradable products may break more easily and/or chip more.) Its carbon footprint is smaller than many traditional plastics.
Each individual bristles are designed with heat-formed tips (no chemicals), shaped into a smooth round ball, like a delicate gemstone. This reduces snagging or pulling on wet hair.
